The
apartment I am staying in, and will show in one of the Paris episodes, is absolutely
amazing. It's just the quintessential fantasy Parisian apartment. It even has
a fancy espresso machine. I'm so happy because with a kitchen I can go to the
store and get some groceries and really feel at home in my new surroundings. What
a job I have, I think to myself.
That night I have a glass of my favorite
red wine Pinot Noir which itself is from France. I open up a window and look out
to see the inside of other Paris apartments. No one seems to have curtains and
I watch a family sit down to dinner, a couple watching TV and a young woman getting
ready to go out. On the corner below, a street clarinet player is playing "New
York, New York." What a great job I have.

of the Latin Quarter and just beneath you you'll see the ebb and flow of Paris
on the Place St Michel. The apartment is one block from the river Seine and a
5 minute walk to Notre Dame and the picturesque Ile St. Louis. In the other direction
the apartment is a 10 minute walk up the booksellers' quais from the Louvre. Nearby
restaurants and shopping include the lively Rue de Buci and, of course, all the
chic shops and restaurants of St. Germain. |
