We rented Jardin Du Luxembourg apartment for a week in January. Totally enjoyed the
location, felt that we were part of the neighborhood. The neighborhood had a "village"
feel to it. We loved the proximity of rue Mouffetard to shop for wine, cheese the latter part
of the day. The fact that there was a patisserie downstairs that had wonderful croissants
each morning was heavenly. Would definantly rent the apartment again.

We were priviledged to be the first occupants in this newly renovated apt. It's probably
the nicest furnished apt we've stayed at in Paris and we've spent from 1-4 months yearly
in Paris over the last 5 years! Usually we accept that something will be lacking; beds too
soft or hard, kitchen utensils missing, etc. but in Christine's apt we couldn't think of
anything lacking. Lots of fluffy towels, comfortable roomy beds, lots of light, every
cooking appliance and utensil imaginable. The location is quiet but a 10 minute walk
gets you to the heart of both 5th and 6th arrondissements. Thanks Christine for a perfect
home base.

My husband and I shared the apartment with our 23 year old son and his girlfriend. It
was perfect. We wanted a location where the kids could go out and meet young people
yet not crowded and noisy. The apartment is bright and sunny (even in November) and
the shopkeepers where I bought our daily breakfast and evening wine/munchies could
not have been nicer (market Marie just down the block is a good all purpose place for
staples). We have stayed in other apartments in Paris and found this to be far superior.
The internet access and phone service to the US is a real plus as were the two
bathrooms. The orientation "book" helped us find clubs and restaurants in the
neighborhood which were welcome after a long day of sightseeing. Mme Brigitte gave
us a thorough overview of the place as well.

The pictures on this website have not been retouched! The atmosphere in the
apartment is as lovely and comfortable as it's depicted. The mattresses and linens are
divine and the peaceful surroundings will ensure a restful night's sleep or an afternoon
nap...With all that there is to see in Paris, you'll probably not be spending much time
indoors, however, when you do, the comforts are like sweet home. .
