| I have the difficult job of inspecting and reviewing Parisian apartments. There are few that keep my jaw continuously open…this is one of them. First, it’s on Seine (Quai de l’ Hotel de Ville) so the location is priceless and ooh la la so very Parisian. Second, it’s your own townhouse, no neighbors simply tranquil, historical and romantic. The elegance begins with the beautiful marble staircase and continues with the tasteful high quality furnishing and unforgettable art. The apartment is ideal for a romantic duo or cheery threesome since this pristine apartment can comfortably sleep 3 since the second bedroom is a single bed.

We do not recommend this glorious townhouse for those with difficulty going upstairs and young children since the owner has maintained the original handrails which are fabulous. Wood ceiling beams, a stone wall, terra cotta and oak flooring, and baroque architectural details give a feel for the past, while up-to-date appliances and amenities provide modern comfort. And yes, there is AIR CONDITIONING. The location, virtually in the middle of the Marais, is ideal for exploring Paris on foot. |

This prized address (quai montebello) on the banks of the Seine has unbelievable views of Notre Dame from virtually every window. Located in a beautiful 18th century building this duplex apartment has recently undergone a full renovation. The apartment was professionally decorated in a comfortable way. Arch Digest won't be calling anytime soon but you will be raving about the view for decades. In all frankness, the apartment is only 1100 sq ft divided between two floors so the bedrooms upstairs are just for sleeping. The kitchen is fully equipped, small and functional. This space is ideal for young families or couples sharing. Best of all you can walk to all the major sites for this wonderful central location. |
